Republic of Ireland Under-18 manager has named his home-based squad for the upcoming John Coughlan Memorial Cup matches with Wales.
The Boys in Green take on the Dragons at the RSC in Waterford on Tuesday, February 20 and Thursday, February 22, with the games kicking off at 19:30 and 15:00 respectively.
“This squad is derived from the recent inter-provincials that took place recently. With the help of the provincial managers I’ve selected the squad for the double header,” Crawford told the FAI’s official website.
“This competition is a worthwhile exercise, it exposes the players to international football and they get to experience a professional set up.
“The games are always competitive and there is of course a trophy at stake. We’ve seen players that previously played for this side go onto a higher level, most notably Alan Browne who picked up a senior cap last year, so it is a fantastic opportunity for the players.”
