Aiden McGeady has been enjoying himself at Preston North End this season, solidifying his reputation as a fan-favourite with a number of lovely goals.
The Republic of Ireland international thrilled Preston supporters with a double against Brentford earlier in February and he has given them another reason to adore him with an excellent curled effort in today’s 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.

McGeady now has four goals in 22 league appearances this term and his recent upturn in form will no doubt come as a welcome development to Martin O’Neill as he prepares for March’s World Cup qualifier against Wales.
The 30-year-old was one of four Irish players in the Preston starting XI, with Daryl Horgan, Greg Cunningham and Alan Browne also playing their part in the win.
Former Dundalk defender Andy Boyle was on the bench for the hosts, while former Galway midfielder Ryan Manning featured for QPR.
