Jordan McEneff has wasted little time settling into his new surroundings with the Republic of Ireland, bagging the winning goal on his debut against Hungary.
The midfielder, who is set to join the Arsenal academy from NIFL side Coleraine, was impressive throughout the game and scored in the dying moments with a header to ensure victory for the Boys in Green in Galway.

A younger brother of Derry City midfielder Aaron McEneff, Jordan forced himself into the consciousness of Irish football fans last November when he produced an outrageous piece of skill for Northern Ireland Under-16s against the Republic of Ireland during the Victory Shield in Scotland.

He has since followed in the footsteps of the likes of fellow Derrymen James McClean and Shane Duffy in switching to the Republic of Ireland, and it looks like the FAI have a real talent on their hands.
Galway-based Ireland supporters may have a chance to see McEneff in action on Thursday, February 23 when the U16s play the second of their friendly games against Hungary at Fahy’s Field, home of Mervue United.
